Darren W. Bolotte

Co-Founder, President & CEO

Darren has been at the helm of Aluma Marine since its inception in 2000. He and co-founder, Chad Perrin (retired), established the company based on the principles of sound construction and mission-specific outfitting of the boats they build, resulting in high quality, long life cycle vessels. With a vision of designing and building outstanding boats and a commitment to excellence, Aluma Marine got under way. Growing up in Lafitte, LA, the heart of workboat country, Darren was always involved with boats from an early age.

With a father who was a pioneer in aluminum boatbuilding, both at home and in shipyards, Darren followed in his footsteps and further developed and honed his boatbuilding talent and skills while working in a variety of capacities in major shipyards. He continues to stress attention to detail and customer satisfaction, principles he instills in all Aluma personnel.
